SCORE! is a free-cycle event hosted by the Augustana campus of the University of Alberta. Here’s how it works:
Wednesday October 31st: Drop off your used but still-useful items in the forum building at Augustana between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. There will be a volunteer present to sort the items and help you unload. (if you are unable to drop off in these times but wish to do so, let us know. We can arrange to meet you the next morning). What kind of items? Clothes, dishes, furniture… anything in good condition!
Thursday November 1st: Come to the forum between 2pm and 6 pm to ‘shop’ the free store, attend ‘upcycling’ workshops hosted by creative students, buy some tasty baked goods, bid on the silent auction, and learn about Sahakarini’s projects. Although the items are free, donations will be accepted for Sahakarini. The first $500 raised will be matched by FaithLife Financial.
