How To Become a Monthly Donor
We have set up new ways for you to make your donations to Sahakarini and its overseas projects. You can now become a monthly donor and have your donations charged to your credit card each month.
We use a Canadian service called Canada Helps which manages this kind of transactions for Canadian charities. The first step is to register for an account with Canada Helps at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/SignIn.aspx. Follow the web page instructions to create an account to manage your monthly donations. You can change or cancel your monthly givings whenever or however you wish.
Then go to the Sahakarini website (https://sahakarini.org)
Find the “DONATE NOW” icon just below the Welcome to Sahakarini heading.
Click on the Donate now icon. This will take you to our account page on Canadahelps.org
Fill in your Canada Helps email account and your password and click on “Sign In”
Select the Donate Monthly box. Then scroll down the list of funds and select Donate Monthly
Type in the amount you wish to donate each month.
Fill in the blanks provided.
Check to see if it has listed the correct credit card information. Be assured your information is secure. In 20 years they have maintained a spotless security record for their members.
You are then asked if you wish to donate once to help support Canadahelps.org to support Canadian charities to do their fundraising. This box is totally voluntary and you can enter as small or as large a number as you want.
Review your information and if all is correct click your mouse on the “Complete Donation Now” button. You will then see a confirmation your donation has been processed and you will get an email with information on how to manage your account.
Your monthly donation will be automatically put on your credit card and you will recieve a total income tax receipt at the end of the year.
Become a Monthly Donor
ATB Cares, sponsored by Alberta Treasury Branch Financial, collects and processes donations for selected “not for profit” organizations in Alberta. To use this option, go to the website www.atbcares.com/donate and follow the prompts. Your donation will be forwarded to Sahakarini plus a 20% matching donation from Alberta Treasury Branch. Please remember to tell us if you want your gift applied to a particular project. We would like to know your name so that we may thank you!
Cheques can be made out to Sahakarini Inter-World Education and Development Association and mailed to Box 1685, Camrose, AB T4V 1X6.Sahakarini is a Canadian registered charity. Our business number is 11913 1936 RR001. A charitable donation receipt for tax purposes will be issued for all donations.
