20+5 Integrated Village Health and Development – Andhra Pradesh, India
This is a project with long-time partner Charitable Community Development Organization. It built on past success in community development, land reclamation, basic health care, girl child education, provision of vocation training for rural Tribal people in 20 villages and residents of 5 slums in the area of Visakhapatnam. The project piloted a daycare program for frail elderly. It increased efforts around HIV/AIDS education and prevention as well as strategies for living with AIDS.
